Description
The F1C engine, specifically designed for light commercial vehicles, is the culmination of over 40 years of field experience. This engine is a leader in its category in terms of performance, delivering up to 152 kW (207 hp) and 470 Nm, and boasts the best transient response in its class thanks to electronically controlled variable geometry turbochargers (eVGT), delivering 470 Nm at 1400 rpm/min.
The F1C is a leader in its category for reliability thanks to its duplex timing chain (no maintenance required, quieter and cheaper than gear-driven timing) and is designed to have a long life of up to 400,000 km Be10 on GVW up to 7.2 t. In terms of maintenance, the F1C engine is a leader in its category with oil change intervals of up to 50,000 km.
All F1C engines are available for both transverse and longitudinal installation. Models can be customized on request, with options including radiator, air filter, oil pan, and dipstick, alternator and other components. The engine is equipped with an ATS system with dual SCR, optimized for urban missions with reduced load and low exhaust temperatures, as well as for suburban use.
Around two million units have been sold since 2003, which are compliant with global emission standards such as EuVI, GBVI, JP24, PROCONVE P8.
In addition, it is the only light commercial vehicle engine also available in a natural gas configuration.
