Commercial transport relies on high performance, durability, and efficiency. FPT Industrial’s certified engines, known for their power, reliability, robustness, and innovation, are designed to meet these needs. Our range of engines for on-road applications, which includes three engine families, the F1, NEF, and CURSOR, offers displacements from 2.3 to 12.9 liters, with rated power outputs from 85 to 442 kW (116 to 600 hp), and maximum torque values from 340 to 2,850 Nm. These engines provide cost-effective solutions to tackle daily challenges.

All FPT Industrial engine families include natural gas variants, offering clean, innovative engines with reduced CO2 emissions. These engines are designed to ensure low noise, long life, and daily savings thanks to reduced cost per mile, all while being environmentally friendly and complying with current emission standards. Our range of natural gas engines, which includes three engine families, the F1, NEF, and CURSOR, offers displacements from 3 to 12.9 liters, with rated power outputs from 100 to 382 kW (136 to 520 hp) and maximum torque values from 350 to 2,500 Nm. Since 1997, we have sold more than 100,000 natural gas engines with a European market share of over 60%.

The family of truck engines
High performance, reliable engines with low fuel consumption
Our NEF and Cursor truck engines provide robust, reliable and efficient power to a variety of medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicles, are suitable for urban, regional, long haul and construction missions duties, as well as garbage collectors, municipal vehicles, sweepers, and other specialized vehicles. Power outputs range from 118 to 442 kW (160 to 600 hp) and torque from 580 Nm to 2850 Nm.
Our NEF and Cursor truck engines provide robust, reliable and efficient power to a variety of medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicles, are suitable for urban, regional, long haul and construction missions duties, as well as garbage collectors, municipal vehicles, sweepers, and other specialized vehicles. Power outputs range from 118 to 442 kW (160 to 600 hp) and torque from 580 Nm to 2850 Nm.
Two families of engines are available for these tasks. The NEF family, including the N45 4.5L and N67 6.7L engines, available in the natural gas version, and the Cursor family with a total of four engines: the C9 8.7L available in diesel and natural gas versions, the CURSOR 11 11.1L, the CURSOR 13 12.9L available in diesel and natural gas versions, and the new multi-fuel XCURSOR 13 12.9L engine, available in diesel, natural gas, as well as a future hydrogen version. Both the NEF and Cursor diesel families feature EGR-free architecture, ensuring low fuel consumption and excellent reliability, making us the best-in-class for heavy-duty performance.
